Wow! – Got a new desktop PC – DELL Vostro 400!
Hello,
Well, Good news from my side! I have got a new DELL Vostro 400 desktop PC and have finally retired my old assembled Pentium 4 which was giving me problems due to frequent hardware breakdowns.
The configuration of my new DELL Vostro 400 machine is :
- Intel Dual Core Quad Processor
- 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM
- 320 GB SATA hard disk
- 256MB PCI video card
- 16X DVD+/-RW with dual layer write capabilities
- Microsoft Genuine Windows Vista Business OEM version
- Firewire 1394 PCI card
- USB Stereo Speakers
- 56K PCI data/fax modem
- Optical USB Mouse
- Flat panel 19 inch LCD monitor
- Integrated Fast Ethernet 10/100 network card
and USB ports (in front and back), applications software – Network Assistant and Microsoft Works etc.
Well, two things that I don’t like is – i). The complete black CPU box and ii). Too many security prompts in Windows Vista Business.
Leaving these minor grudges aside, I am displaying some of the pictures of my Vostro 400 computer including when it arrived (in the packed state).

Dell Vostro 400, 19″ flat panel LCD monitor
Dell Vostro 400 mouse and keyboard.
I also took 3 years onsite next business day warranty and the total cost of the PC amounted to INR 55K.
I am extremely happy as the new DELL Vostro 400 PC is very fast and looks elegant too as compared to the old PC. It has given boost to my morale and I can now confidently work without worrying about the computer downtime. Now, I have the assembled P4 as a backup.
How do you feel investing on your business? Happy as me! I am sure Yes!
Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,
Take care,
