Through this post, I want to let you know that I am offering my years of computers expertise and technical writing experience etc. for moolah. My blog has all the posts written by me and it should be a good factor for deciding to hire me 
I know that the biggest limitation behind technical is the remote factor and the skills of the customer requiring support (he/she might not know how to open the computer, swap cables and hardware or even identify the ports or specific cables etc. but if you are comfortable in doing some minor hardware troubleshooting, I can help you in saving money that you otherwise will spend by calling an Engineer at your home that will try his/her best to extract money by telling you replacements that are not at all required.
To be more clear, I can offer you consulting for the given below problems (earning opportunities for me – the perspective change is here among you and me, problem being faced by you is an opportunity to help you and get paid):
- Basic Hardware Support
You can consult me for hardware level support for computers, laptops and servers (whatever is possible remotely) helping you diagnose the problem with a particular hardware. The diagnosis will help you pinpoint issue with the specific hardware – hard disk, CD/DVD drive, SMPS, motherboard, display, modem, LAN card etc.
You need to have basic knowledge of opening the PC, removing your static charge (before touching the electronic components), pulling the power cables, data cables, connectors, unscrewing etc. etc – minor stuff for doing computer surgery with my assistance

Infections are really bad for your computer and if you are getting messages of a particular virus, malware, spyware etc. and need help in curing them, then I can be of assistance to you (sometimes you might not get any message and things may be worsening in your computer silently). I know searching online can be of help for finding the cure for the infection but sometimes the details are techie and slight mistakes can worsen things more.

I can guide you in choosing the right backup strategy for your crucial data, backing it up and restoring it upon issues. You can lose your years of work if you don’t take the data backup of your computer/s seriously. So don’t delay it and do it right now if you have been idling and procrastinating it till now.
- System Software Support
Blue screen of death (at your computer with MS OS), frequent crashes, migration to later versions, DLL errors, fine-tuning and optimization, restoration in Microsoft Windows operating systems can be headache if you don’t know how to do/rectify them. In such cases, instead of doing trial and errors, the best would be to look towards expert like me who have immense experience of years in troubleshooting and maintaining Microsoft operating systems – Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista etc.
- Application Software Support
There are hundreds of major applications from different companies – word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, mailing clients, browsers, graphics designing, website setup, scripts, anti virus, anti-spyware and firewall etc. Even if you have licensed software, the paid support can be very costly or if you have freeware, there is no support available; In these cases, contact me to get paid support at nominal rates. I don’t guarantee that I will be able to help you in every case but there are chances that my solution will definitely help you.

I have always enjoyed installing and troubleshooting dialup, broadband, home networking, LAN (wired and wireless) and small sized WAN. I can definitely help you in troubleshooting the same. Working at big banks setup, ISP, corporate companies and service providers have given me excellent networking exposure and I would love to help you in installing and maintaining the networking hardware and software and troubleshooting their issues.
- Technical Writing and Research
I have been writing on computers, information technology, basic computers and online security etc. for past few years. School level books on computers, article on OTP, FTP, modem, ISP etc. have been either published in my name or in someone else name (ghostly written by me). If you have some technical writing related project in my domain of expertise, let me know. I can also do research on the relevant new topics of my area and produce a report based on my findings and understanding for saving yours precious time.
- WordPress CMS Administration
I have been installing, configuring and maintaining my own blogs based on WordPress Content Management System from year 2008. I can easily do all the above average level stuff including day to day troubleshooting with the diagnosis of php files error code (if needed) and optimization and fine tuning of the WordPress blog by configuring the plugins.
